Creative Retainer
Starting at $125
A non-refundable creative retainer starting at $125 is required to reserve your session date.
This officially saves your spot on the calendar and covers the planning that happens before your session, including communication, location guidance, styling resources, and preparation support.
Your retainer is applied toward your final collection. Because your date is reserved specifically for you, retainers are non-refundable if canceled, but one reschedule transfer is allowed if needed.
Studio sessions require an additional studio booking fee due at the time of reservation.

IS THERE A TRAVEL FEE?
I’m based in Lake St. Louis, Missouri, and sessions within 30 miles of 63367 are included. If your location is farther out, a small travel fee may apply depending on the distance.
If you’re planning a studio session, the studio we use is located on Main Street in St. Charles, Missouri.
HOW LONG DO YOU STORE FILES FOR?
While I maintain multiple backups and hard drives, I cannot guarantee file storage beyond 1 year after your gallery is delivered. I highly recommend downloading your images promptly and saving them in at least two places to ensure they remain safe long term.
If you ever need access to an archived gallery after the initial 30-day window, it is no problem at all. I can retrieve your session from my archives and reload it for a $50 unarchiving fee.
Once you download your gallery, it is best to store your images in multiple locations. My recommendation is one copy on your computer, one on an external hard drive, and one in a cloud service such as Google Drive or iCloud. Having backups in different places helps protect your photos so they can be enjoyed for many years to come.
WHEN DO I RECEIVE MY GALLERY?
Photos have a 14 day average turnaround. You will receive an email the moment your gallery is ready to view, so keep an eye on your inbox.
Need your photos for a specific deadline or just too excited to wait? No problem. Rush editing options are available if you would like to move your gallery to the front of the line. Whether you are patient or in a hurry, my focus is always on delivering images that feel polished, meaningful, and true to your story.
Once your gallery is delivered, you will have 30 days to download your high-resolution images before the gallery is archived to make room for new masterpieces.
WHAT’S YOUR STYLE?
We would best describe our style as "colorful and moody." Seriously though, our images reflect the location and, naturally, you! We shoot for the location, the look, and the feel... not for our brand.
This means your gallery won't look like everyone else's. Whether we are chasing the golden hour in a field or finding that quiet confidence in a dark studio, the result is always a reflection of your real, unscripted moments. My expert eye is there to catch the split seconds of magic that happen when you are just being yourself.
DO YOU GIVE OUT RAW/UNEDITED FILES?
RAW and/or unedited files are not included with your session. The final edited images are the finished product and reflect the specific style, quality, and main character energy of my work.
If you are interested in purchasing the copyright and obtaining the RAW files, please reach out prior to booking to discuss availability and pricing. Otherwise, get ready to see yourself in a way that carries real weight once the final retouches are complete!
WHEN AND WHERE WILL MY SESSION BE?
Most sessions take place outdoors unless we decide on a studio or specific indoor location together. The best time for photos is usually during golden hour, either about an hour after sunrise or an hour before sunset. That is when the light is soft and flattering, which helps create the look you see throughout my work. I try to avoid midday sessions whenever possible since the sun can be harsh and create strong shadows.
Once we talk through the feel you are going for, I will send over a list of some of my favorite locations. If you already have a spot in mind, just let me know. I am always happy to explore ideas and find a location that fits your vision and carries real weight.
DO YOU DELIVER EVERY IMAGE?
No. During the editing process I remove duplicates, test shots, missed focus, and images with awkward expressions. This allows me to deliver a final gallery that represents the strongest moments from your session.
I often capture multiple frames of the same moment to make sure we get the best expressions and natural interactions. What you receive is a carefully selected gallery of the best images that truly reflect your session.
CAN I PRINT MY PHOTOS?
Yes, absolutely. Once your gallery is delivered, you’ll be able to order professional quality prints directly through your online gallery store. You’re also welcome to print your images anywhere you’d like using the print release included with your download.
Please note that while you’re free to print wherever you choose, I can’t guarantee the color accuracy or print quality from outside labs. For the best results and prints that reflect the quality of your images, I always recommend ordering through the professional print store built into your gallery.
