I believe that photos should be more than just a collection of posed, smiling faces. They should capture the real moments in life, the ones that make us laugh, cry, and feel all the feelings.
When you book a session with me, you can expect to have fun. We'll laugh, we'll play, and we'll create memories that will last a lifetime. I'm not here to tell you what to wear. I'm here to capture you as you are, in all your real and raw beauty!

01. BOOKING YOUR SESSION
Interested in booking a session? Check out the booking page or shoot me a message. I will compile all the information and get back to you within 48 hours. After you have paid the creative fee/non-refundable retainer and signed the contract, your session is booked!
02. PICK A LOCATION
Haven’t decided on a specific location yet? Have no fears! We’ll talk about options and I’ll share from experience what works best depending on your needs. Remember I am always up for going to a location that is meaningful to you or that represents your personality! I want your images to be uniquely you! Be sure to check out my location guide if you need ideas.
03. SEASON & TIMELINE
Weather, seasonality, and daylight play a crucial role in how your photos will turn out. We’ll discuss this together and confirm the timeline for the best results.
04. BEFORE YOUR SESSION
We will work together to make sure your session goes off without a hiccup! Some shoots have themes, the location backdrops vary, and clothing can make a huge difference in the elevation of the overall look of the images. As a starting point, here's my style guide and tips and tricks to help ensure a great session..
Once you have nailed down what you are wearing make sure to try the clothing on to ensure a proper fit, and launder and iron all items so that you are not rushing at the last minute.
05. DURING YOUR SESSION
With the exception of boudoir sessions, I am an on-location outdoor photographer. Your session time will vary depending on the package you selected. We will meet at the location about 10 minutes prior to the session to go over any last-minute requests and get straight to the fun! Please be on time, arriving late will cut into our shooting time and could reduce your overall final image count.
I will be making a fool of myself trying to get everyone to relax and feel comfortable. Oh, and I may boss you around a bit. :) I do prefer to shoot a mix of both candid and posed "for Grandma's wall" photos; be prepared to have fun!
06. WHAT HAPPENS NEXT
After the session is over I will upload your images to my computer and external hard drive. Within a few days, I will post a preview on different social media platforms. I use artistic judgment on which images I edit and how I will edit them. Each session is individually edited for the feel of the image - not for preset (filter). Every session is edited uniquely for you!
Once editing is complete I will upload your image into your online gallery, send you the link and password. From your gallery, you will be able to download your images, upgrade your downloadable image count, and/or order high-quality prints and heirloom-quality products.
